Overview
Impact’s 20-inch C-Stand is a standard go-to accessory for studio and location photo, video, and TV shoots. The stand features steel and aluminum construction for strength, and it lives up to the name “century stand” for its durability and because it has least a hundred different uses. The stand is made to industry-standard size, so it will perfectly fit on grip trucks or C-stand racks and carts. When combined with Impact’s 2.5-inch grip head and grip arm, there’s no better tool for supporting light fixtures, a wide variety of grip gear, and light-modifying gobos. The removeable turtle base makes transportation easy. The base features a junior 1⅛-inch receiver that allows you to remove the riser and exchange it for a different-size riser or a stand adapter for low-angle shooting. Impact’s unique quick-release leg lock collar simplifies opening and closing the legs for rapid deployment and breakdown. Other unique features like hexagonal brake castings, welded legs, and custom locking knobs give the C-stands a classic, sleek, and streamlined look.

Industry Standard Size
The 20-inch C-stand is designed to perfectly fit grip trucks or C-stand racks and carts. The legs are also standard-sized to allow close nesting with comparable C-stands when several stands need to be deployed in a tight space.
Spring-Loaded Leg Lock
A spring-loaded leg locking collar was made for fast and easy deployment and breakdown. You’ll love this feature because there’s no twisting, turning, or wrestling with the legs. Once the locking collar is released gravity takes over, and the legs simply fall into place in seconds.
Turtle Base
The Turtle base allows you to detach the main riser for easy transportation when you don’t have a lot of trunk space for your gear. When you need to mount a light fixture or accessory close to the ground, remove the main riser from the stand’s junior receiver and add a replacement riser, a junior-to-baby-pin adapter, or any other 1⅛ in. adapter to the base.

Knurled Pin
The simplest design advantage can save you time and effort, especially if you’ve ever experienced a horizontally mounted light slipping out of position due to a poor grip on a smooth pin. The top baby pin is knurled for superior hold, especially for horizontal mounting. Set your lights once, and they won’t slip out of position.
Milled Hexagonal Baby Pin
The 20-inch grip arm features a 5/8-inch hexagonal pin for securing light fixtures with a 5/8-inch receiver. If a light fixture with a modifier the size of a medium softbox doesn’t have a firm enough grip on a round pin, its weight can make it twist or rotate. Tightening a locking knob to a pin with a milled flat surface will prevent your light fixture from twisting out of position.
2.5-Inch Grip Head
The 2.5-inch grip head is another go-to piece of industry-standard gear that’s included with this kit. It provides a 5/8-inch hole for grip arms and other baby-pin attachments, and 3/8-inch hole for gobos, and a 1/8-inch hole for grabbing the thin wires used for rigging accessories with metal wire. Beefy aluminum construction and a steel central bolt can secure light fixtures or other accessories like booms, and small butterfly and overhead frames.
20-Inch Grip Arm
A staple on any film, video, or photo set, the included 20-inch grip arm is made of sturdy metal, and it’s engineered to securely hold most lights, light modifiers, and grip gear. The 20-inch grip arm is ideal for rigging a moderately heavy light directly over the camera lens or hanging an accent or hair light above your subject.
