Overview
Elvid’s MIVIDCON-3GS-HD is a compact broadcast signal converter that allows you to connect SDI-based equipment to a wide variety of HDMI devices, like a monitor, television, or projector. It automatically identifies an HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signal, and coverts it to an HDMI signal with embedded audio. Perfect for studio, event videography, and live streaming, this video converter will let you monitor the SDI signal from your camera or switcher on HDMI gear. The loop output can send the SDI signal to other SDI-input devices. Its compact size and lightweight metal chassis make it perfect for transport in a gear bag or even in your pocket. Once it’s set up, it sits inconspicuously out of the way and quietly does its job until it’s time to pack up. The MIVICON-3GS-HD converter is USB powered and includes a USB-C cable and power supply so you can conveniently power this device from a laptop, large-screen monitor, or AC outlet. Note: The MIVIDCON-3GS-HD will not properly convert audio that’s embedded in HD-SDI streams from Blackmagic Design products. The video quality will be unaffected, but the audio stream will not be converted.
