Overview
The Vello BG-C18 battery grip is designed for the Canon EOS RP and R8 mirrorless camera and offers extended shooting time and comfort in a vertical (portrait) orientation. The grip accepts up to two rechargeable Canon LP-E17 batteries, doubling your power for taking more photos and videos. There is an alternate shutter release button and a control lock switch allowing you to capture images and prevent unwanted exposures. 1/4-20 Mounting Screw
The BG-C18 attaches to your camera’s tripod socket with a 1/4-20 mounting screw for a secure fit. A 1/4-20 tripod socket on the bottom of the grip means your camera retains its mounting ability.
