Overview
The Auray BA-XE4 is a sturdy two-section broadcast arm that’s a versatile and practical accessory for professional and home studios, and is ideal for broadcast, voiceovers, and webcasts. This durable accessory fits seamlessly into any studio or recording setup, and it’s designed with a wide range of motion for precise microphone placement and minimal handling noise when repositioning the mic. A 10- foot XLR mic cable is integrated into the arm to minimize cable clutter and make microphone attachment fast and easy. The BA-XE4’s is spring design is engineered to support microphones and shock mounts up to 3.5 pounds, and hold them securely in place while you speak or record. This broadcast arm features a standard 5/8-27 microphone mount that’s compatible with most shock mounts and mic clips. The angle of the mount can be adjusted and secured with the locking knob, and the angle is maintained when repositioning the arm—eliminating the need to readjust it every time the arm is moved. The included C-clamp and tabletop flange mounts offer options for temporary fastening onto a desktop or more permanent installation on a broadcast station or podium.

A 10-foot XLR mic cable is integrated into the arm to minimize cable clutter, so you don’t have to go through the hassle of threading and weaving a cable through the arm. Mic setup and attachment is fast and easy.

5/8-27 Threaded Microphone Mount
The industry-standard 5/8-27 threaded microphone mount is compatible with most shock mounts and microphone clips. Whether you’re using a studio condenser, dynamic, or shotgun microphone, the BA-XE4 has the mount to hold it.
Wide Range of Motion
An extension of up to 38 inches, and the ability to rotate the arm 360°, allow for precise microphone placement. And once you’re put your mic in an optimal position, you can be sure it stays there, because the ergonomic locking knobs give you plenty of torque to tighten and fix the mic’s position.
Mounting Options
The BA-XE4 broadcast arm comes with options of convenient temporary mounting or more permanent installation. The included C-clamp is for temporary and movable fastening to a desktop or workstation. The flange mount screws into a flat surface for more permanent installation on a broadcast station or podium.
