Overview
Whether you’re shooting wildlife or shooting the moon, Oben’s GH-30C gimbal-type tripod head is designed to balance your lens along its vertical and horizontal axes. Constructed with durable yet lightweight carbon fiber, this gimbal head ensures that you can quickly aim and shoot your subject, even with a heavy or unwieldy lens. The fluid motion and friction control built into the arm assures smooth and uniform panning. Lenses that are too large or heavy to be moved and aimed quickly can be tilted or swiveled effortlessly and remain securely in place once positioned. The GH-30C mounts onto most tripods with a 3/8-16 threaded stud, and it’s a great tool for sports, and wildlife photography. Engineered with a strong and durable curved carbon fiber main arm, the GH-30C supports up to 44 pounds, yet balances the load so even a large lens feels weightless. Large, easy-to-grip locking knobs and an arca-type quick-release plate allow for swift and secure lens mounting.

Arca-Type Quick Release
The Arca-type quick-release plate allows you to quickly mount your camera and lens to the gimbal head. Attach quick-release plates to multiple setups to make swapping cameras and lenses a breeze. The included plate is designed with security pins that prevent it from accidentally slipping off the mounting platform.
Attaches to Most Lens Collars
Two 1/4"-20 threaded mounting screws and included 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 bushings assure compatibility with most lens collars.
Numbered Scales
The numbered scales furnish a convenient way to mark the position of your setup so you can quickly rebalance your lens the next time you use it.
Easy to Grip
The locking knobs are easy to grip in order to securely lock the panning joint, swinging arm, platform adjustment, and quick-release plate locks.
