Whether you’re lighting a talking head, matching ambient light conditions, or needing a kiss of color to accent your subject, the Cello 2 has an operating mode that gives you exactly what your shot requires. CCT (correlated color temperature) mode is perfect for setting traditional lighting temperatures from 2800 to 10,000 K, and Filter mode lets you accent it with one of the 150 preloaded gels. The expansive HSL mode lets you produce nearly every hue of the visible spectrum, and effects mode puts ten editable preprogrammed special effects at your fingertips. Use the Composer app to unlock even more of the Cello 2 ’s features and functionality.

The correlated color temperature (CCT) mode allows you to accurately adjust your color temperature from the 2800 to 10,000 K. This lets you emulate any lighting condition from the cool hues of bright sunlight to the warmth of a tungsten bulb while maintaining 98 TLCI and 96 CRI color accuracy average.

Install the powerful Composer app on your iOS or Android device, and use the Cello 2 ’s incredible lighting effects from 100 feet away. Illuminate your subject with any hue of light you can imagine. Create customized animated lighting effects. Use the eyedropper feature to match any color on an image or video. Combine multiple Luxli Orchestra units, and conduct a whole symphony of light.

The Cello 2 is designed to give you the exact lighting or effect you need when you need it without delaying your shoot or workflow. The built-in LCD display offers a simple and intuitive interface that you’ll pick up immediately. Easily adjust brightness and color, and switch between the HSL, Filter, CCT, and Effects modes with the touch of a button. And with it’s full-color display, there’s no need to guess what color you’re dialing up.

The Cello 2 features a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery 3.0, and it comes with a USB Type-C cable and wall adapter that can power your Cello 2 . When the Cello 2 is connected to the wall charger, you can also recharge the batteries while you power the light without interrupting your workflow.

The Cello 2 ’s firmware is only updated from the Composer App. And that means you can quickly and effortlessly update the Cello 2 ’s firmware to add new effects and functionality, and never take it out of your lighting setup. The Composer app will even let you know when a firmware update is available.

To assure your light conforms exactly to Luxli standards of superior quality, every Cello 2 is individually calibrated and tested before it leaves the factory. A serialized photometric calibration result sheet that lists the lux output, CRI, TLCI, and color gamut is included with every light.
