Overview
Genaray’s Compact Pocket On-Camera RGB LED Light is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and it features an array of 60 RGBAW LEDs that produce a bright and color-accurate light as well as realistic lighting effects. This pocket-sized and lightweight on-camera light boasts a wide color temperature range of 2800 to 8000 K so you can match almost any ambient light, or the other light fixtures in your setup. Use it as an on-camera light that’s perfect for portraits, head shots, or macro photography. You can also mount it on a boom pole for hard-to-reach positioning, or as a handheld light for ultra-creative angles or effects. The RGB-DP425 is loaded with advanced technology. Four operating modes accurately set color temperature, manually select any color from the 360 °color wheel, and simulate the light from one of the 48 industry-standard gels. And this light has 10 animated effects that let you add a police car emergency light, a flickering candle, or flashing paparazzi cameras to your videos. The RGB-CP425 is controlled by a simple and intuitive on-unit interface. Bluetooth support pairs with Genaray’s RGB Series mobile app, which provides more control of your light and access to even more powerful features. Use the app to create a universe of RGB-series lights that can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet from up to 33 feet away.

Compact and Versatile
Don’t let the compact size fool you into thinking this light’s uses are limited. Whether you’re recording a vlog or need a cool-running light for on-camera or close-up work, the RGB-CP425 has a bright output, CCT and RGB modes for the perfect color temperature and hue, and GEL mode for color correction.
CCT Mode
CCT mode lets you set the color temperature from 2800 to 8000 K so you can simulate the golden warmth of a tungsten bulb, the diffused blue-tint of an overcast day, and everything in between. This is a perfect mode for precisely matching ambient light or other lights on your set.
HSI Mode
HSI stands for hue, saturation, and intensity, and this mode lets you select any of the 360 colors of the color wheel, and adjust their saturation and their brightness. This mode is a sure-fire way to add interest, drama, and some fun to your shots. Light your subject in one of the colors and tweak the saturation and brightness for a subtle accent on hair, clothes, or background.
Gel Mode
Gel mode lets you select one of the 48 industry-standard colored gels that are as realistic as if you’re putting a gel in front of an actual light. Gel mode is so convenient you can leave your gels back at the studio and use this mode for color correction or even creating theatrical effects.
Effects Mode
Effect mode is where the RGB-CP425 excels above other lights in its class. Ten realistic effects are built into this light so you can simulate the light from an emergency vehicle, fireworks, a fireplace, or a TV. Add drama to your video, and let the RGB-CP425 help you tell the story.
Diffusion
To ensure your LED array doesn’t cast harsh or multiple shadows, the light is equipped with an integrated diffuser to soften the beam. An additional silicone diffuser is included for a flattering and beautiful light.
Genaray RGB App
Genaray’s RGB app is available for iOS and Android devices, and it can control Genaray’s RGB-series lights from up to 33 feet away. The RGB app expands the RGB-CP425’s capabilities with a wider range of operating modes and editable parameters.
Master and Slave Modes
The RGB-CP425 will seamlessly fit into a multi-light setup with Genaray’s RGB-Series lights. It can control a multi-light setup. When set to slave mode, it will seamlessly fit into a lighting setup with your other RGB-Series lights.
Mounting Options
The RGB-CP425 comes with a cold shoe adapter so you can mount it directly onto a camera. Other options are available thanks to the 1/4-20 socket. Mount it onto the included tabletop tripod, which is perfect for vlogs and interviews, or directly onto a ball head. It’s so lightweight, you can mount it on a boom pole of even use it as a handheld light for creative effects and positioning.
Mounting Magnets
Put a kiss of light in hard-to-reach places by using the built-in mounting magnets to attach the RGB-CP425 to any metal surface like a shelf, door, or desk.
Wired and Wireless Charging
To make sure you’re never without adequate battery power, the RGB-CP425 comes with a USB cable to charge the internal battery from a wall outlet or a powered USB port or hub. For even more convenience, you can charge the RGB-CP425 from a wireless charging pad.
