Overview
Angler’s COL-BOW Omni Light is a light modifier that lets you use an LED light fixture with a Bowens mount adapter to evenly light a large space with soft wraparound illumination. The translucent 28-inch cylinder attaches to LED light fixtures, and it throws a soft cast in a 360° pattern that will light your subjects with beautiful soft diffuse light or fill in gaps that are left by your key and accent lights. You can use one to light a single subject or use several to light a much larger scene, like a family sitting around a table. An optional skirt adds additional control and directionality, and the bottom panel zips out when you want to create a lantern hot spot. The COL-BOW is made with durable translucent white fabric that won’t change the color cast of your light. It weighs less than a pound and folds down to a 10-inch pouch, so you can take it anywhere and set it up in seconds.
Features
Made for Bowens-Mount LED Fixtures
The COL-BOW is compatible with most Bowens-mount LED fixtures and will enhance their light while it eliminates multiple shadows and throws your light in a 360° pattern.
360° Spread
Let the Omni Light change your directional light into an omnidirectional light. As it spreads the light in a 360° pattern, it also diffuses the light and gives you a soft cast with a beautiful wraparound quality.
Large Spaces
If you’re shooting in a large room or with a large group of people, use Omni Lights to bathe the space with soft, even background illumination. But the Omni Light isn’t just for background lighting. Suspending several Omni Lights overhead can give you the light you need for scenes like large card games or Thanksgiving dinners.
Softens and Diffuses
By deploying more than one Omni Light, you can create shadowless lighting that’s perfect for portrait and fashion shots.
Skirt Accessory
The skirt accessory (sold separately) comes with reversible black and reflective silver sides. It attaches anywhere around the circumference of the cylinder so you can control ratio and spill in any direction.
