Overview
Angler’s FastBox series of octagonal softboxes add speed and flexibility to your lighting setup. Take a FastBox with you to a shoot, and with its designed quick setup, you’ll be ready to go to work in a fraction of the time it takes to set up an ordinary softbox. The FastBox expands as you snap and lock it into place for a classic octagonal shape that’s favored by fashion and portrait photographers. A built-in speed ring offers quick flash attachment with adapters (sold separately), so you can use a standard on-camera flash or the Profoto A1 and Godox V1 flash heads. The pistol-grip design uses a unique twist lock to attach to any light stand with a 5/8-inch stud, and it allows you to adjust the tilt with a simple squeeze of the trigger lock. The silver interior amplifies your flash’s output, and included inner and outer diffusers to create an even beam without hot spots. This all adds up to a rapidly deployed light modifier that gives you a beautiful and flattering light from edge to edge, natural and round catch lights, and diffusion that softens and evens out the harsh light of your flash. The FastBox series has a wealth of optional accessories for shaping, diffusing, and color correcting your light, without interrupting your workflow. To create the exact light for your exposures, the gel kit features color-correcting gels, a diffuser, honeycomb grid, and a gel frame to add a gel of your choice.

Octagonal Softbox
The FastBox is an octagonal softbox that provides you with a round-shaped beam with soft edges that’s a favorite of portrait and fashion photographers. For closeup shots, the octagonal shape will give you natural-looking catch lights in your subject’s eyes.
Silver Interior
The FastBox’s reflective silver interior amplifies your flash head's output. A silver interior ensures you get the most light transmission from your flash so you can shape and modify the beam to your specifications.
Rapid Setup
The one-motion setup is why it’s called a FastBox. The FastBox bypasses that entire process of setting up an ordinary softbox, and lets you setup in seconds. The FastBox expands to its full diameter as you snap it into place for a tight shell that will give you an even and consistent beam.
5/8" Twist-Lock Receiver
The FastBox is compatible with any standard light stand with a 5/8" stud. The unique pistol-grip and twist-lock design secures the FastBox to a light stand. A quarter turn of the twist lock secures the FastBox in place until you’re ready to pack up.
Pistol Grip
The FastBox comes mounted on its own pistol grip that has tilt adjustment controlled by a trigger. The pistol grip allows for 120° of tilt adjustment, so aiming the FastBox up toward the ceiling, or down for a product shoot takes only a squeeze of the trigger.
Two Diffusion Layers
The FastBox has both inner and outer baffles to evenly diffuse your flash and soften the light. It casts a flattering, smooth light on your subject while it minimizes hotspots and offers even lighting from edge to edge.
Color Correction Kit
The Color Correction Kit (sold separately) works seamlessly with your FastBox for rapid color correction. Each piece attaches to the front of the FastBox magnetically, so adding and changing them won’t cause delays on your shoot. A diffuser is included to soften most flashes, as well as a gel frame that can be used to add a gel of your choice. The kit also comes with a honeycomb grid that adds directionality to your beam while minimizing light spill.
