Overview
The Oben CQL-20 tripod is uniquely designed for shooters on the go. With its lightweight carbon fiber build and 17-inch folded length, it won’t weigh down your gear bag. And with internal twist locks, it will slide in and out of your carry bag without snagging or catching. The tripod sets up and breaks down in seconds and will easily fit in a light case or backpack. The tripod and ballhead fully extend to 62 inches, and the 8X carbon fiber construction delivers a weight capacity of 20 pounds for solid support for most heavy camera and telephoto lens setups. Each five-section leg can be positioned independently at three locking angles to ensure a stable platform when shooting on uneven terrain. A reversible center column and a separate short center column allow camera positioning close to the ground and provide several options for low-angle shooting. Oben’s 2-way panoramic BHC-20 ballhead features solid aluminum construction and simple operation that will let you aim, lock, and shoot without missing the moment. This ballhead boasts independent ball and panoramic base adjustment along with a 90° notch for instantly switching from portrait to landscape orientation. An Arca-type quick-release plate allows for mounting and dismounting the camera quickly and effortlessly.

5-Section Tripod
The CQL-20 tripod features 5-section telescoping legs secured by internal twist locks. All it takes is a small turn to unlock each section and adjust the tripod’s height.
Three Locking Angles
The legs lock at three different angles for support on uneven terrain or at low angles. Set the legs at 23°, 52°, or 82° to ensure your camera’s stability.
Reversible Center Column
With the center column fully extended, this compact tripod can reach a height of 62 inches. A spring-loaded accessory hook lets you add some weight, like a sandbag, to secure the tripod in windy conditions or on uneven terrain. Reverse the center column and you can practically place your camera on the ground for macro and nature shots.
Short Center Column
For dramatic low-angle shots, use the included short center column and set the legs to the 82° angle. Your camera will be only 5.5 inches off the ground.
Double-Action Ballhead
The Oben BHC-20 ballhead features independent tilt and panoramic locks. The ballhead also features a 90-degree notch for effortlessly switching from landscape to portrait orientation, and a bubble level to ensure accurate camera alignment with the horizon.
Internal Twist Locks
Rapid deployment and leveling is a must when you want to capture that perfect moment. The internal twist locks add to the CQL-20’s overall compactness, and will let you set up in seconds, even if it’s on an uneven surface. Plus, internal twist locks won’t snag, so you can take the tripod out of your gear bag without untangling it from cables and other gear.
Arca Swiss-Type Quick-Release
The ballhead includes an Arca Swiss-type quick-release plate for ease in mounting and dismounting your camera. You can attach an Oben QR plate (not included) to all of your cameras for rapid camera swapping, so you’ll never miss a shot.
