Overview
The Oben CQL-13 tripod is uniquely designed for shooters on the go. With its lightweight build and 14.5-inch folded length, it won’t weigh down your gear bag. And with internal twist locks, it will slide in and out of the carry bag without snagging or catching. It will set up and break down in seconds, and easily fit in light cases or backpacks. The tripod and ball head fully extend to 51 inches, and the 8X carbon fiber construction delivers a weight capacity of 13 pounds for solid support for most heavy camera and telephoto lens setups. Each five-section leg can be positioned independently at three locking angles (21°, 52°, or 82°) to ensure stable support when shooting on uneven terrain. A reversible center column and a separate short center column allow camera positioning close to the ground and provide several options for low-angle shooting . The 2-way panoramic ball head features solid aluminum construction and simple operation that will let you aim, lock, and shoot without missing the action. This ball head boasts independent ball head and panoramic base adjustment along with a 90° notch for instantly switching from portrait to landscape orientation. An Arca-type quick-release plate allows for mounting and dismounting the camera quickly and effortlessly.

Lightweight Carbon-Fiber Strength

5-Section Tripod
The CQL-13 tripod features 5-section telescoping legs secured by internal twist locks. All it takes is a small turn to unlock each section and adjust the tripod’s height.
Three Locking Angles
The legs lock at three different angles for support on uneven terrain or at low angles. Set the legs at 21°, 52°, or 82° to ensure your camera’s stability.
Reversible Center Column
With the center column fully extended, this compact tripod can reach a height of 51.1 inches. A spring-loaded accessory hook lets you add some weight, like a sandbag, to secure the tripod in windy conditions or on uneven terrain. Reverse the center column, and you can practically place your camera on the ground for macro and nature shots.
Short Center Column
For dramatic low-angle shots, use the included short center column and set the legs to the 82° angle, and your camera will be only 5.2 inches off the ground.
Double-Action Ball Head
The ball head features independent tilt and panoramic locks. The ball head also features a 90-degree notch for effortless switching from landscape to portrait orientation, and a bubble level to assure accurate camera alignment with the horizon.
Internal Twist Locks
Rapid deployment and leveling is a must when you want to capture that perfect moment. The internal twist locks add to the CQL-13’s overall compactness, and will let you set up, even if it’s on an uneven surface, in seconds. Plus, internal twist locks won’t snag, so you can take the tripod out of your gear bag without untangling it from cables and other gear.
Arca Swiss-Type Quick-Release
The ball head includes an Arca Swiss-type quick-release plate for ease in mounting and dismounting your camera. You can attach an Oben QR plate (not included) to all of your cameras for rapid camera swapping, so you’ll never miss a shot.
