Overview
The Auray WBF-BDM foam windscreen is tailored to fit most broadcast dynamic microphones with a 2-inch diameter. It’s a practical and simple solution that minimizes vocal plosive sounds of announcers and singers who work up close to the microphone. In recording or podcast studios, it will also reduce noise from moving air produced by air conditioning, fans, or ventilation systems up to 8 dB with only minimal high-frequency loss. The hypoallergenic and washable foam also shields your microphone from dust, debris, and moisture that can damage your microphone’s capsule.

The windscreen simplifies recording podcasts or vocals with a broadcast dynamic microphone. You can record at home or in the office, but you’ll need to reduce the noise from moving air caused by ventilation systems, fans, or air conditioners without muffling the sound.
