Overview
The Magnus DLX-M1 is the perfect travel companion, whether you’re hiking long distances to get the perfect shot or hustling up and down the sideline to keep up with the action. It weights less than a pound, and it folds down to a mere 21 inches, so you’ll never hesitate to throw it into your gear bag or sling it over your shoulder when you’re getting ready to hit the road. The DLX-M1’s maximum load capacity of up to 6.6 pounds will accommodate most cameras and a telephoto lens. This 4-section monopod boasts flip locks and non-twist alignment for quick setup and breakdown and effortless height adjustment. The monopod offers the option of using a spiked foot to dig into muddy turf, or a nonslip rubber foot for gripping a slick surface like a basketball court.
Features
Lightweight Construction
The monopod features aluminum construction that provides a rigid and stable platform for your camera. It will accommodate most cameras and telephoto lenses, and because it weighs less than one pound, it’s perfect for on the go photography.
Compact and Light
The DLX-1M folds down to a miniscule 21 inches, which makes it effortless to transport. You can use the included carry case’s strap to sling it over your shoulder. But it will also fit neatly into a backpack and even some camera bags.
Neoprene Grip
Don’t let nasty weather keep you from getting the perfect shot. The neoprene pad surrounds the leg for comfortable handling in the cold, and a secure grip in the rain.
Retractable Spike
For solid footing on soft surfaces like turf or sand, the monopod features a retractable spike that extends with a few twists of the rubber foot. When you move to a hard or highly polished surface like a basketball court, the spike retracts with a few easy turns so the monopod rests on the nonslip rubber foot.
Wrist Strap
Even the best photographers occasionally get distracted when they’re multi-tasking or moving around. The wrist strap provides an extra degree of security in case you accidentally lose your grip on the monopod.
