GH-30 Gimbal Head

The GH-30 gimbal head is designed to balance a setup of up to 44 lbs. It gives you the ability to effortlessly maneuver a heavy camera and lens that would ordinarily be too large or cumbersome to move or aim quickly.

Some subjects just don’t hold still. When you’re shooting birds, wildlife, or sports, the GH-30 will give you smooth and even motion when you’re moving the lens along either axis. The fluid motion and friction control built into the arm lets you move your camera smoothly and effortlessly while you’re tracking a subject.

The GH-30’s adjustable features allow you to quickly balance your gear while providing rigid support and stability. For sports and wildlife photography, the gimbal head provides the stability to balance and hold your camera in place while you get your shot.

The GH-30 is compatible with most tripods that have a 3/8-inch threaded stud.

The Arca-type quick-release plate allows you to quickly mount your camera and lens to the gimbal head. Attach quick-release plates to multiple setups to make swapping cameras and lenses a breeze. The included plate is designed with security pins that prevent it from accidentally slipping off the mounting platform.

Two 1/4-inch threaded mounting screws and included 1/4- to 3/8-inch bushings assure compatibility with most lens collars.

The numbered scales furnish a convenient way to mark the position of your setup so you can quickly rebalance your lens the next time you use it.

The locking knobs are easy to grip in order to securely lock the panning joint, swinging arm, platform adjustment, and quick-release plate locks.
