Overview
Elvid’s MIVIDCON-HD-3GS is a compact broadcast signal converter that allows you to connect an HDMI camera, game console, or computer to professional-grade SDI components like monitors or switchers. The converter can also be used to send an HDMI signal over long cable runs by converting it into a more stable SDI signal. This converter automatically detects the input HDMI resolution and outputs it to both 3G/HD SDI output ports with resolution up to 1080p 60. The MIVIDCON-HD-3GS’s compact size and rugged metal chassis make it perfect for transport in a gear bag or even in your pocket. Once it’s set up, it sits inconspicuously out of the way and quietly does its job until it’s time to pack up. The MIVICCON-HD-3GS converter is USB powered and includes a USB-C cable and power supply so you can conveniently power this device from a laptop, large-screen monitor, projector, or AC outlet.
Features
Broadcast Quality Converter
The MIVIDCON-HD-3GS converts the HDMI signal from a camera, gaming console, or computer to your SDI workflow. Perfect for live events, concerts, and studios, this converter will let you add signals from a computer and other consumer equipment to the SDI input of a switcher, studio monitor, or recorder.
Dual SDI Outputs
The converter outputs the HDMI signal to two SDI devices. You can also use the two SDI outputs to send the signals downstream to a switcher, and use the other for a long cable run to a monitor or projector.
Power Options
The converter can be powered via USB from a computer, large-screen monitor, or projector. A power supply is included, so when a USB port isn’t available, you can power the converter from an AC outlet.
Metal Chassis
This converter is lightweight and compact, but it boasts a metal chassis that makes it perfect for transport and use in demanding environments like events and livestreaming.
