The Elvid’s SHOE-HD-MICRO is a rugged, strong, yet extremely low-profile ball head that mounts devices and accessories that weigh up to 3.3 pounds to a camcorder, camera, or camera cage. This tiny ball head’s all-metal construction and unique clamping mechanism deliver locking strength and rigidity to hold your devices in place whether you’re in the studio or on location following the action. You have the option of mounting it on your camera or camcorder’s accessory shoe, or on a 1/4-20 stud, and it will fit practically anywhere on your setup due to its miniscule footprint. A 90° notch lets you switch from portrait to landscape orientation without interrupting your workflow.

Sturdy Construction
This ball head is tiny but incredibly strong for its size. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket, but the sturdy aluminum construction gives it stability and strength. Its unique clamping mechanism is surprisingly strong, and it securely holds gear up to 3.3 lb.
Ultra Low Profile
This ball head’s low profile will fit practically anywhere you need to mount an accessory or monitor to a camera or camcorder. Hardware is included for compatibility with camera cages, so you can add a light, microphone, or GoPro to your rig without weighing it down or taking up a lot of space.
Mounting Options
You have the option of mounting the ball head via its 1/4-20 threaded socket or the included mounting. A headless grub screw is included to mount the ball head to a camera cage or cheese plate.
90° Notch
Switching from landscape to portrait orientation shouldn’t stop your session. Use the 90° notch to quickly switch a camera, light, or monitor from landscape to portrait orientation. The notch also allows you to mount a microphone or LED light off to the side, so the accessory doesn’t get in your way.
