Overview
Genaray’s 5 × 7 RGB LED light is a compact on-camera light that’s a powerful and handy solution for advanced lighting. The light features an array of versatile RGBAW LEDs that produce color accurate, flicker-free lighting for photo and video. This light will give you options that you didn’t think were available with an on-camera light. The BL-5X7-RGB boasts five operating modes that offer versatile lighting options for any situation or effect. CCT mode lets you set the light’s color temperature in 50 K increments from 2800 to 8000 K, so you can simulate the warmth of a tungsten bulb, bright sunlight, and anything in between. HIS and Color Wheel Modes let you manually select any color from the color wheel and adjust its saturation and brightness. Gel mode lets you accent, or color correct your light by selecting between 48 preloaded gels. And when you’re ready to add realism and drama to your video, use EFX mode to select any of the ten preloaded animated effects. Shoot a scene of people sitting by a campfire, watching fireworks, or add the emergency lights of a police vehicle or the camera bursts of paparazzi. For remote operation, the light is equipped with Bluetooth that pairs with your tablet or smartphone from up to 33 feet away. Genaray’s RGB mobile app offers even more powerful functions for the light, including group and individual light control and effects.

RGBAW LED Panel
The highly accurate and versatile RGBAW LEDs should stoke your creativity. Color mixing on each LED means higher accuracy and full-panel output, regardless of settings. The A and W in RGBAW stand for amber and white, 2800 and 8000K color temperature LEDs, that apply brightness and accuracy to any color temperature.
CCT Mode
The correlated color temperature (CCT) mode allows you to accurately adjust your color temperature from 2800 to 8000 K in 50 K increments. This lets you emulate lighting conditions from the cool hues of bright sunlight to the warmth of a tungsten bulb while maintaining 93 CRI and 97 TLCI color accuracy.
HSI Mode
Dial up any color on the color wheel. Scroll through the entire color spectrum in 1° increments while you control the saturation and brightness. Match any color gel that’s on another light, or splash a color on your background. Or just get crazy and bathe your subjects in colored light.
Gel Mode
Select between 48 digital gels that are as realistic as if you’re putting a gel in front of the actual light. Use the gels as filters for color correction or theatrical effects. Thanks to gel mode, you don’t have to bring your gels and filters with you to your shoot.
EFX Mode
The BL-5X7-RGB is preset with 10 animated lighting effects for realistic and dramatic lighting that will make your audience’s jaws drop. You’ll have effects that simulate police and emergency vehicles, lightning, fireworks, and multiple paparazzi flashes at your fingertips.
Runs On Battery Power
The BL-5X7-RGB runs on the readily available NP-F battery that gives you plenty of juice to power your light through long shoots.
Remote Operation
You can step out from behind the camera to direct the scene thanks to the RGB app that can control your Genaray RGB-series via Bluetooth from 33 feet away. The RGB app pairs with your light the moment you open it, and it unlocks even more of its potential with a wider range of operating modes and editable parameters.
Camera and Tripod Mountable
This light is designed with a mounting foot so it will fit into any camera’s shoe mount. It’s light enough to mount on your camera without weighing you down. The light is equipped with a standard 1/4-20" socket for tripod mounting.
