The Auray RF-C12R Professional Desktop Isolation Filter provides a portable solution to isolate your microphone on a desktop and in rooms that are acoustically untreated. If you’re a music producer, broadcaster, or podcaster, and you’re recording in a space with less-than-ideal sound quality, isolating your microphone is extremely important. The Auray Desktop Isolation Filter makes it easy to capture clean and dry recordings of vocals or instruments. It fits on a desk or tabletop and uses multi-layer acoustic treatment to absorb unwanted ambient noise and control acoustic reflections.

Microphone Isolation
Recording, broadcasting, or podcasting in rooms with little-to-no acoustic treatment can wash out vocal or instrument audio recordings. The Auray Desktop Isolation Filter fits on your desk or tabletop and minimizes unwanted noise bouncing off walls or vocal reflections entering your microphone. Usually, if you want dry and clean recordings, you need to put up lots of acoustic foam all over your walls. With this filter, you capture what you want in your own room or workspace.
Multi-Layer Acoustic Treatment
Multiple layers of acoustic treatment help isolate your vocal and instrument recordings. A thick layer of composite fiber surrounds your microphone and absorbs unwanted reflections as well as any noise coming in from the room. A layer of acoustic fabric and a molded-vented polymer shield help deaden and disperse sound waves, leaving your recordings with little to no coloration.
Adjustable Mic Depth
The RF-C12R allows microphone depth adjustment for the right amount of room ambience. Slide the microphone closer to the filter to pick up less room noise or slide the microphone away to add space in your audio recording.
Filter Stand
The Auray Desktop Isolation Filter is mounted onto its own stand. This allows you to place your filter and mic setup on a desk or tabletop for recording vocals or doing live podcasts or broadcasts. It’s also a portable option if you’re recording on the go. The stand’s height is adjustable from 7.25 to 9.1 inches (18.4 to 23 cm), so it accommodates short and tall mics, and optimizes mic placement for capturing audio.
