Overview
The Genaray Quad Sun 1×4 Bi-Color LED Panel provides bright, soft, and continuous light for photo and video shoots. It offers a bright and punchy color-temperature range from 3200 to 5600 K and with a 120-degree coverage. The integrated diffuser and recessed LEDs eliminate multiple shadows and hot spots, so no other diffusion is necessary. Use the Quad Sun in the studio or on location with the ability to plug into AC power or use two V-mount batteries (not included) for portability. The Quad Sun’s flicker-free lighting is ideal for shooting video at high frame rates. DMX support with 512 selectable channels and 5-pin XLR connections let you remotely control the light’s settings. A heavy-duty and reinforced metal yoke provides extra strength and rigidity, minimizing wobble as the light sits on the stand with a baby pin or junior receiver mount.

Powerful but Soft
Genaray’s Quad Sun throws a bright and punchy light and provides a broad 120-degree coverage with a soft, wraparound quality that’s ideal for photo and video. The light draws 300 W and outputs a brilliant beam, but its LED array generates minimal heat so you can move your light close to your subjects without them overheating.
Adjustable Color Temperature
The Quad Sun’s color temperature is adjustable from 3200 to 5600 K. You can dial up a precise color temperature to accentuate your subjects, or match other lighting fixtures or the ambient lighting on your set.
Dimmer Control
Take advantage of 100% to 10% dimming capabilities for the exact output level you need for your exposure.
Flicker-Free Light
Light flicker can be a serious problem, producing black bands onscreen when you’re shooting at high frame rates. The Quad Sun is a flicker-free fixture, so when you’re shooting in slow motion, you’ll have smooth video minus the black bands.
Single Shadow
The recessed LEDs and the diffuser combine to eliminate multiple shadows and hot spots that are common when you’re lighting with LED panels. What you get is beautiful, soft, and even light without harsh shadows.
Battery or AC Power
The Quad Sun runs on AC power or a V-mount battery. It’s a multi-voltage fixture capable of running on 100 to 240 V, so with the proper plug adapter, this light is ready for worldwide use. For cable-free portability, you can also power the unit using two V-mount batteries (not included).
DMX
The Quad Sun supports DMX control and connectivity. Light up live events, video, and fashion shoots. Control the light’s settings remotely from a DMX lighting control console, whether you’re preprogramming movie chases or setting up your lights on the fly.
Color Accuracy
With A CRI over 97, and a TLCI over 98, the Quad Sun delivers high-quality color output. Having more accurate color means you’ll spend less time correcting in post.
Dual Cooling Fans
Two fans help cool the LED panel and prevent overheating. With the fans on, you get access to the full 100% level of brightness control. If you need the fans off during recording, flip the off switch, and avoid noise that can be picked up by a microphone.
Barndoors
Integrated barndoors let you direct and control the light spill. The top and bottom barndoors offer gel clips so you can alter the light’s color.
Mounting Options
The reinforced, integrated yoke offers heavy-duty strength when mounting to light stands that have a baby-pin or junior-pin receiver. The extra rigidity minimizes wobble caused by the light’s weight sitting on top of your stand.
