Overview
Angler’s Quick-Open Deep Parabolic 60-inch softbox opens in seconds and folds up just as quickly. The QO-DP60-V2 softbox features integrated locking rods that lift and lock in place and make setting up fast and effortless. The improved release mechanism provides an easy-to-push lever for each rod. Open and set up quickly, and fold down the softbox effortlessly, so you’ll be ready to move to the next setup or location in seconds. This 60-inch softbox is a 16-sided light shaper that provides a soft yet focused beam for portrait, product, and fashion photography in the studio or on location. The 30-inch deep parabolic shape delivers directional control while it reduces light spill. Included inner and outer diffusers prevent hot spots while they let you manage the level of diffusion that’s perfect for your exposure. Angler 130 mm speed rings that are compatible with popular lights, including Profoto, Elinchrom, or Broncolor, are available separately.

Bowens Mount
The Quick-Open softbox is compatible with any flash head or monolight that’s equipped with a Bowens accessory mount, so you can add the QO softbox to your kit of light-shaping tools.
Integrated Support Rods
The QO-DP60-V2 features integrated support rods that snap into place in seconds. You’ll be ready to shoot in a fraction of the time it takes to set up a conventional softbox.
Improved Lever Release Mechanism
Breaking down and moving a softbox can be tricky when you have to go another room or move around your other gear. The QO-DP60-V2 softbox solves this problem with an improved release mechanism that lets you easily open, set up, and fold down your softbox as quickly as it sets up. Each rod has its own release lever, so breaking down and moving saves you time and effort.
Reflective Silver Interior
Without diffusion, the softbox’s reflective silver interior intensifies the light and delivers a punchy, specular light that’s great for adding drama and pop to your exposure.
Inner and Outer Diffuser
The two removeable diffusers let you control the amount of diffusion that’s perfect for your exposure. The inner diffuser has a double layer that will eliminate hot spots, and the front diffuser spreads tight over the softbox for an even light that will wrap around your subject.
Natural-Looking Catchlight
The QO softbox focuses the light and provides a natural-looking catchlight to make your subject’s eyes come alive.
Speed-Ring Inserts
Angler 130 mm BBAR-Series speed-ring inserts add compatibility to your softbox when you use a monolight by popular brands like Profoto, Elinchrome, or Broncolor.
Fabric Grid
An optional fabric grid is available separately and adds even more directionality by narrowing the beam spread and limiting light spill.
