Overview
The Robus RTH-1030 Triple Action Ball Head is a compact yet muscular addition to your tripod in the studio or out in the field. This ball head features rugged aircraft-grade aluminum construction along with a rock-solid build and a load capacity of 35 pounds. The ergonomic locking knob’s integrated tension dial regulates the minimum tension of the ball head and eliminates the danger of losing control of your camera and lens, even when the locking knob is disengaged. A separate pan lock controls the panoramic base that boasts 360° markings so you can accurately set up—and repeat—panoramic shots. The Arca-compatible quick-release plate allows for fast and effortless camera swapping, and it’s outfitted with rubber pads to prevent twisting once it’s attached with the 1/4-20 D-ring mounting screw. And to make sure you’re always aligned with the horizon, a bubble level is integrated into the head.

Separate Tension Control
The locking knob includes an integrated tension dial that sets the minimum amount of friction on the ball. This ensures there’s friction, even when the main locking knob is disengaged. This feature assures control of your camera and lens when you need to quickly unlock and reposition the ball head.
Arca-Type Compatible Quick Release
The Arca-compatible quick-release plate allows you to rapidly mount your camera and lens to a compatible head. Attach quick-release plates to all your cameras to make swapping cameras and lenses a breeze. The included plate is designed with security pins that prevent it from accidentally slipping off the mounting platform.
Panoramic Base
For the perfect panoramic shots, the 360° marks will help you precisely position the camera when you’re panning from one specific angle to another. When you’re done panning, the pan lock will hold the head steady to eliminate unwanted camera movement or shake.
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum
The RTH-1030 head is constructed with exceptionally strong and stable aircraft-grade aluminum that can stand up to demanding use and travel, and perform at the highest level.
90° Notch
The 90° notch lets you quickly switch your camera from landscape to portrait orientation in seconds.
Bubble Level
