Overview
The Magnus LM-700 is a sturdy all-weather tripod with a pan-and-tilt head that supports up to 10 pounds of photo or video gear. It features a removable center column that becomes a five-section monopod ideal for outdoor, nature, and sports photography. The LM-700’s center column offers a convenient lateral option for extending your camera horizontally out from the tripod and suspending it over a subject when you’re shooting documents or artwork. And when you’re ready to pack up, the 3.6-pound LM-700 folds down to a compact 23 inches. A nylon carrying bag with shoulder strap is included for transport and storage. The four-section aluminum legs allow the tripod to reach up to 70 inches, which is convenient when you want your camera at eye level. Flip locks are easy to adjust and secure to the perfect height. A locking center brace offers steadiness for your camera, and the integrated hook allows you to attach a counterweight for additional stability on uneven terrain or in windy conditions. A three-way pan-and-tilt head features a quick-release mounting plate with a universal 1/4-20 mounting screw. And in case you need to change orientation, the platform can also easily switch from landscape to portrait position in seconds.

Telescoping Legs
Four-section telescoping legs are secured by flip locks for easy adjustment, and a center locking brace provides additional reinforcement on even and uneven surfaces. With the legs and center column at full extension, you can raise your camera to a height of 70 inches.
Pan-and-Tilt Head
The three-way pan-and-tilt head lets you quickly orient your camera so you can aim or follow the action with ease. For your camera’s stability, pan-and-tilt functions employ separate locking knobs. The mounting plate easily swivels from landscape to portrait orientation.
Rapid-Adjust Center Column
Changing the height of your camera couldn’t be simpler. The rapid-adjust center column offers up to 11 inches of height adjustment without changing the height of the legs. Move your camera to the perfect position with a simple twist of the locking collar.
Integrated Monopod
When you’re shooting sports, wildlife, and outdoor macro photography, it’s essential to stay mobile so you can keep up with the action. By removing the center column from the collar, the center column becomes a 5-section monopod with height adjustable from 17 to 62 inches.
Quick-Release Plate
The quick-release plate comes with a 1/4-20 mounting screw that’s compatible with most cameras’ mounting sockets. The mounting plate releases from the head with a flick of a switch, so you can alternate between tripod and handheld photography in seconds.
Stability
Don’t let setting up in a little wind or an incline hang you up. A hook at the end of the center column allows you to attach a counterweight, like a sand bag, for additional stability when setting up in windy conditions or on uneven terrain.
Rubber Feet
For extra steadiness on almost any kind of surface or footing, the tripod employs rubber feet that won’t slip on most smooth surfaces and will swivel to adjust to uneven terrain.
Foam Leg Padding
