This solid steel accessory is made with an industry-standard 5/8-27 adapter that’s compatible with most mic stand threaded tops. The tray comes with thick EVA foam pads that prevent your gear from slipping and eliminate vibrations that can interrupt a recording.
Features
Useful Mic Stand Accessory
Whatever you need when you’re standing behind the microphone, whether it’s a monitor for cueing lyrics, a headphone amp, or even a glass of water, just set up a mic stand and screw on the MSP-9. And it’s not just for small necessities. The stand will hold controllers, mixers, and lights up to 15 lb.
9 × 9-Inch Tray
The 9 × 9-inch steel tray is large and sturdy enough to hold up to 15 pounds of gear, yet it’s small enough to be unobtrusive so it won’t get in the way when you’re working. It even features black powder coating finish, so if you’re shooting a video of the session, it won’t reflect light back into the camera lens.
Industry-Standard 5/8-27 Thread
The tray will work with practically any mic stand you’ll find in the studio. The industry-standard 5/8-27 adapter is compatible with most mic stand top threads, and it easily screws on and turns a mic stand into a convenient utility table.
15 lb. Weight Capacity
This utility tray is meant to hold more than tissues and a glass of water. The 15 lb. capacity is sturdy and strong enough to hold larger pieces of gear like monitors, DJ controllers, laptops, lights, and mixers.
Thick Foam Pads
The tray comes with thick EVA foam pads that prevent your gear from slipping off the surface. They also prevent vibrations from gear like speakers and controllers from being picked up by your microphone.
