The Viola 2 5-inch Multicolor LED light features a highly accurate and versatile RGBAW LED panel with Bluetooth 4.0 LE. Four lighting modes offer precise illumination for any situation. You can match any ambient lighting condition with color temperature adjustment from 3000 to 10,000 K, and it also puts nearly every hue of the visible spectrum at your fingertips. Choose from 150 colored filters or 10 customizable animated effects. The Viola 2 features a simple and intuitive on-unit LCD interface for direct control. When connecting to the unit via the Composer mobile app, you’ll gain access to even more powerful features, including responsive group control, lighting animation effects, eyedropper color selection, and mode sequencing. Accurate and Versatile RGBAW LED Panel
The highly accurate and versatile RGBAW LEDs open a whole new range of creative possibilities. Color mixing on each LED means higher accuracy and full panel output, regardless of settings. The "A" and "W" in RGBAW stand for amber and white, 3000K and 5600K color temperature LEDs, respectively. And thanks to the amber and white LEDs, brightness and accuracy applies to any color temperature.
CCT Mode
The correlated color temperature (CCT) mode allows you to accurately adjust your color temperature from the 3000 to 10,000 K in 50 K increments. This lets you emulate any lighting condition from the cool hues of bright sunlight to the warmth of a tungsten bulb while maintaining 95 CRI and 97 TLCI color accuracy. The Viola 2 delivers consistent accurate color rendition regardless of the color temperature.
RGB Color Mode
One of the great innovations of the Luxli Orchestra family of lights is the color wheel mode—you can dial up almost any color. Scroll through the entire color spectrum in 1° increments. You can also control the color saturation with the mobile app.
Filter Mode
Set your white balance, and then select between 150 Lee-equivalent digital gels. Whether you’re using technical filters for color correction, or creative gels for theatrical effects, the Timpani’s filter mode provides a wide variety of customizable color options. It’s as realistic as if you’re putting a gel in front of the actual light. And thanks to filter mode, you don’t have to bring your gels with you to your shoot.
Effects Mode
The Viola 2 has ten preprogrammed special effects for incredibly realistic lighting. Whether you’re recreating lighting from fireworks, a police car’s flashing lights, or a campfire in a mild breeze, the Viola 2 has an effect that will make your lighting look realistic and dramatic. Each effect has adjustable parameters that are accessed via the mobile app so you can tweak the effect to perfection.
Intuitive On-Unit Interface with LCD
The built-in LCD offers a simple and intuitive interface that you’ll pick up immediately. You can instantly access any operating mode and quickly adjust the settings, so you won’t waste valuable time tinkering with your lights, and get right back to shooting.
Composer App
The Composer mobile app is a game-changing tool for creative lighting. Install it on your mobile device and connect all your Luxli Orchestra lights via Bluetooth. Illuminate your subject with any hue of light you can imagine. Use the eyedropper feature to match any color on an image or a video. And with custom grouping, you can combine multiple lights from the Luxli Orchestra series and step up to the podium to conduct a symphony of light.
Lightweight and Compact
All this versatility can fit unobtrusively into the shoe mount of your DSLR camera. Weighing less that one pound and only five inches wide, the Viola 2 is a lightweight and compact addition to any camera rig or setup. It has a 1/4-20 mounting socket and includes a shoe-mount ball head for a variety of mounting options.
