Overview
The Magnus Wireless LANC Controller offers direct access to your Canon, Sony, or select Panasonic camcorder’s recording functions. Control zoom, focus, and iris speeds with variable speed settings. The pressure-sensitive rocker allows you to easily record smooth video while zooming in and out for telephoto and wide-angle shots. Wirelessly start and stop video recording and review your last recorded clip. Clamp the remote onto your tripod’s pan handle so you can zoom and pan at the same time.

Pressure-Sensitive Zoom Rocker
Enhance your video recording with this pressure-sensitive zoom control. With three speeds, you can zoom slow or fast and even reverse the direction of the toggle. A smooth zoom recording provides a professional look to your videos.
Focus and Iris Control
There are individual controls for your camcorder’s focus and iris. You can set up to three speeds for focus, and two increment options for the iris, as well as a toggle for auto or manual modes. These settings allow you to customize your shooting needs based on the scenes you’re capturing.
Wireless Receiver
Insert the 2.4 GHz receiver into your camcorder’s remote or LANC port, and you’ll have a wireless connection. You can control your zoom, iris, and focus without extra wires to fumble over.
Wired Operation
Plug the included 2.5 mm LANC cable into the remote and your camcorder, and you have a dedicated connection without any wireless interference.
Record and Review
Start and stop recording with the press of a button and without removing your hand from the pan handle. After you’ve captured your clip, press the review button to make sure you got the right shot.
OLED Display
A bright OLED display shows your video recording time, battery life, and wireless or wired connection status. The easy-to-read screen makes for quick navigation through all the menu settings.
Built-In Clamp
Attach the remote to your pan handle, tripod, or any tubing up to 1.3 inches wide. Clamping the remote to the pan handle allows you to toggle the zoom and control the pan together for a dynamic, moving shot.
Sleep Timer
This remote runs off two AAA batteries (not included), and there’s a sleep timer to help save battery power. Choose between ten minutes, one hour, or four hours of inactivity. This way, if you’re working and put the remote down for a break, it will automatically go to sleep.
USB-C Port
Use the USB Type-C port to update to the latest firmware when available.
